Zsa Zsa Gabor will need to have her hip replaced following a fall in her Bel Air home.
Zsa Zsa Gabor is to have a hip replacement after falling from her bed.
The 93-year-old actress was hospitalised after breaking several bones after taking a tumble while trying to answer the telephone and watching television.
Zsa Zsa's 65-year-old husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt said: "My wife is a fighter. She will be ok."
Her publicist John Blanchetter added: "She was watching her favourite show, 'Jeopardy', when the phone rang. She reached over to pick it up and fell.
"I'm worried, it's a difficult operation. She's 93 years old but she's a fighter and the doctors are among the best in the world."
The actress was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles on Saturday night (17.07.10) following the incident.
Zsa Zsa has suffered from a number of medical problems in recent years - as well as needing a wheelchair following a car accident in 2002 which left her partially-paralysed, she also suffered a stroke five years ago.
