Zsa Zsa Gabor, the legendary Hollywood actress was given her last rites in hospital last night (15th August). After returning home in a stable yet frail condition last week, her condition worsened and she was rushed back to hospital just two days later, suffering from blood clots after having hip replacement surgery.
Gabor broke her hip after falling out of bed, and her publicist has stated that "her health has been up and down ever since". The actress, now 93-years-old, has had a long and distinguished career dating back to the 1950s that has seen her star in film, television, and on the stage. She was once married to Paris Hilton's great-grandfather, CONRAD HILTON, and has been married nine times, seven of which ended in divorce, with one being annulled. Her current husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, said Gabor was visited by a priest at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center as her final request.
As of late, Gabor has battled with a series of health problems. In 2002, she was the passenger in an automobile accident, leaving her needing continued physical therapy. In 2005, she suffered a stroke, and in 2007 she underwent surgery to treat an infection to her leg.
