British pop star Zayn Malik has postponed plans to wed his fiancee Perrie Edwards in 2015 because his tour commitments with One Direction will keep him on the road for most of the year.

The singers became engaged in August, 2013 after two years of dating, but their hopes of becoming husband and wife in 2015 have been scuppered by their busy schedules, with the Best Song Ever hitmakers set to launch another world tour in February (15).

However, Edwards, a member of U.K. girl band Little Mix, insists she has no problem with the delay and is taking it all in her stride.

She explains, "We have no idea (when we will wed). We're just going with the flow, we're just happy to be engaged and enjoying it... We'll get there eventually when we're not too busy to make it perfect."

Her comments emerge five months after the couple was forced to dismiss rumours suggesting the stars had secretly tied the knot, after Malik shared a snap of himself online wearing a new band on his ring finger.

One Direction are set to kick off the On The Road Again trek in Australia in February (15), before heading to countries including Japan, South Africa, Finland, Austria, America and Canada. They will return to the U.K. and Ireland for the final leg of the tour in October (15).
