Reclusive musician Yusuf Islam will perform a rare concert in his native Britain tonight (20OCT03) to raise money for his ISLAMIA SCHOOLS organisation.

The singer, known as CAT STEVENS before his conversion to Islam in 1977, will play the title track from his new children's album I LOOK, I SEE as well as a version of his hit PEACE TRAIN at the benefit at London's ROYAL ALBERT HALL.

He says, "There are few things more worthy of celebrating than education. I once wrote, 'Remember the days of the old schoolyard, we used to laugh a lot.' We need to put the joy as well as the spirit back into learning.

"Peace Train is a song I wrote, the message of which continues to breeze thunderously through the hearts of millions of human beings and there is a powerful need for people to feel that gust of hope rise up again."
