Country singer Wynonna Judd has had to postpone a handful of concerts scheduled to take place in Canada next week after her husband was injured in a motorcycle accident in South Dakota this weekend.
Judd announced to the press on Sunday that she has had to pull out of four concerts due to be taking place over the week as well as cancelling her Saturday night show in the town of Deadwood. The accident occurred when Judd and her husband Michael Moser were riding north towards Canada in separate motorcycles when Moser crossed into the oncoming lane and hit a car. The Nashville, Tennessee native was then airlifted to Rapid City Regional Hospital with serious but fortunately not life-threatening injuries. Judd escaped any participation in the crash as she was riding ahead of her husband, whilst the colliding car's driver also escaped without injury.
The singer also said in her statement made on Sunday, "The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I. Cactus is a champion. I love him deeply and I will not leave his side." Cactus is currently being held at the Rapid City hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery following the accident.
