Woody Harrelson's hugely anticipated West End comeback was delayed last week (begs21NOV05) after his co-star fell seriously ill.

The Natural Born Killers actor was due to make his first London theatre performance in three years in TENNESSEE WILLIAMS' THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA.

But the preview performance suffered a last minute cancellation, when one of the actresses playing a minor role fell ill.

A spokeswoman for the production says, "She was suffering with bronchitis and sinusitis.

"It was a preview night, and they wanted to go on with the full cast. We hope she's going to get better for tonight's show."

Harrelson plays former preacher REVEREND T LAWRENCE SHANNON in the classic play, popularised by Richard Burton's memorable performance in the 1964 film version.
