Hollywood veteran William Hurt bonded with his latest co-star Gael Garcia Bernal on the set of THE KING, because they are both so short-sighted. The A History of Violence actor, 56, plays the estranged father of Bernal's character ELVIS in the Texas-set drama. And during a father-son bonding archery session in the movie, both actors realised they couldn't see the target. Bernal, 27, recalls, "We both need glasses and the characters had no glasses on and I didn't see anything because I can not see from far away. We were completely lost. "It's all fiction, it's all cinema, it's all make believe. I shot the arrow but I have no idea where it landed! They made a sound like it landed somewhere but I don't know where. I heard a little 'uh' but I don't know what it was."
