POP IDOL star Will Young has launched the first national domestic violence website for children.
The LIGHT MY FIRE singer is the face of THE HIDEOUT - a site set up by the charity WOMEN'S AID to help youngsters suffering from abuse.
The initiative boasts security features such as a panic button which switches the site to another webpage, such as MTV.COM, should the child fear being caught using the service.
Young, an ambassador for Women's Aid, says, "All of us need to speak up and teach our children that violence is never the solution."19/04/2005 13:41
