The 26-year-old, who won UK talent contest Pop Idol in 2001, has arranged a series of meetings with Hollywood executives when the comedy premieres in the US.
And studio bosses are already lining him up to replace NOTTING HILL star Grant as the Hollywood embodiment of the quintessential Englishman.
Young's spokesperson says, "He is going to the US premiere of Mrs Henderson Presents and is meeting top Hollywood bigwigs when he's out there.
"They really like him. Recently the only English gent they've had is Hugh Grant. They see Will as a cooler, younger version of that type who can sing, dance and also do comedy."
