Whitney Port's boyfriend proposed in their hotel room.
The former 'Hills' star, who confirmed her engagement to Tim Rosenman this week, has gushed about the special moment but said it was ''really low key'' after bad weather ruined Tim's romantic plans in Australia.
The reality star-turned-designer told Us Weekly: ''I was very surprised. We were in Australia. I was working out there and brought him along because he'd never been, and he decided to do it out there!
''He was planning the whole ordeal - like possibly taking out a boat and doing this whole thing on the harbour, and then the day before we were leaving it was really rainy and grey and cold.
''So everything went down the drainpipe there. So he just did it in our hotel room, he asked me really low key.
''I cried a lot. I was first screaming, 'No!' out of disbelief. And he was like, 'You mean yes??' And I said, 'Yeah! Of course!'''
The 28-year-old got engaged just after her 'Hills' co-star Lauren Conrad announced she would be heading down the aisle with boyfriend William Tell.
Whitney added: ''She actually emailed me about something else this week and I hadn't told her yet so I told her.
''[Lauren] was like, 'Oh my god we're both going to be old married ladies together!' It's crazy how the timing worked out.''
Whitney and Tim began dating in 2012, four years after they met on the set of her spin-off show 'The City', where he served as an associate producer.
