The former star of 'The Hills' is heading for the altar with Tim Rosenman, her representative has confirmed to People magazine.
The 28-year-old beauty has been dating the associate producer from her spinoff show 'The City' since 2012, after she split from fellow MTV star Ben Nemetin.
A source told Us Weekly the pair kept in contact after the show ended in 2010 and they ''always had crushes on each other''.
They said: ''She is super comfortable with him and in love.
''She likes that he is from New York because he is such a great tour guide when they visit the city.''
Whitney won't be reuniting with any of her fellow 'Hills' stars on her upcoming big day.
She told People: ''I think we all kind of went our separate ways once the show ended.
''I'm fine with it, like I'm at peace with it. With me, I never feuded with anyone, and nothing ever ended badly, so it just naturally happened.''
Her engagement news comes just a month after former co-star Lauren Conrad got engaged to William Tell.
