Tragic Whitney Houston made her final performance at pal Kenny Lattimore's pre-Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles on Thursday night (09Feb12).
The How Will I Know singer duetted with Kelly Price at the bash, which was attended by Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina, and appeared to be in great spirits as she looked forward to mentor Clive Davis' annual Grammys eve celebration, at which she has become a regular special guest.
Lattimore insists there were no signs of trouble in her life and he, like many others, were stunned when news of her death was announced on Saturday (11Feb12).
He says, "She just seemed like she was having a great night."
The superstar was found dead in her hotel suite at the Beverly Hilton hotel, where she was preparing for Davis' party.
Reports suggest Houston had been coaching singers Brandy and Monica for their performance at the bash.
Ironically, the superstar was still very much part of the party - guests at the sombre celebration were talking about nothing else and Houston's remains were still at the hotel for much of the event.
