Late superstar Whitney Houston is set to be honoured at the 2012 VH1 Divas event.
The I Will Always Love You icon last performed at the annual concert in 2003, but this winter's ceremony will be all about Houston as the yet-to-be-announced 'divas' will pay tribute to the singer with covers of her greatest hits.
Vh1 president Tom Calderone says, "We all felt that if any show could pay tribute to Whitney's music, it would be Divas."
Houston's musical director Rickey Minor will serve as executive producer of the show, which takes place in December (12).
The legendary artist died in February (12), aged 48.
