Rapper Warren G is collaborating with his old rhyming pals Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg as part of a three-album assault on the global charts.

Reviving their 213 moniker - named in honour of their Long Beach, California area code - the hip-hop trio have written more than thirty tracks for an album scheduled for 2004.

It marks just one of three records to be released by the prolific artist next year.

Speaking of his work with the two Doggs, he says, "It's got songs like BACK IN THE DAY, where we're breaking it down about how we used to do it."

"Back then, it was me DJing and MCing, and Nate and Snoop on the mike."

Other tracks they've recorded include ROLLING DOWN THE HIGHWAY and SUNNY DAYS, which lifts a beat from the theme song to children's TV show SESAME STREET.
