Vin Diesel is to star in action movie 'World's Most Wanted'.

The 'Fast & Furious 6' actor will reunite with Neal Moritz, the producer behind the high octane street-racing franchise, for the new action adventure flick, which he will also produce, according to Deadline.

The film stems from a pitch by Will Staples & Sean O'Keefe and the script will be rewritten by Dan Mazeau ahead of filming.

Moritz will produce through his Original Films production company, while Diesel's One Race Films will also produce.

The pair have worked together for numerous years on the 'Fast & Furious' franchise, as well as 'xXx', and are said to be working on a sequel to the latter.

Diesel is currently in high demand after starring in the sixth instalment of his signature series this summer. 'Fast & Furious 6' - which co-starred Paul Walker, DWAYNE 'THE ROCK' JOHNSON, Michelle Rodriguez and Luke Evans - became the highest grossing film in the street racing franchise, taking over $740 million worldwide.

The cast are returning to work for the seventh instalment in the coming months for a rushed July 2014 release date.

The actor will next be seen reprising his role as Riddick in sci-fi action thriller, 'Riddick', a follow-up to 2000's 'Pitch Black' and 2004's 'The Chronicles of Riddick'.
