A Bollywood movie director has been killed by a train while shooting on location in India.
Briton NADIA KHAN, 27, was struck on the tracks at Mumbai's MAHALAKSHMI station while talking on her mobile phone.
She was as assistant director on new film BOMBAY CENTRAL, being directed by BOOM movie maker KAIZAD GUSTAD
Actor Vijay Raaz, who stars in Bombay Central, said he was "shocked and upset" after hearing Khan being hit by the train.
He said that filming at the station had been cancelled while it was still unclear when work on the film, which focuses on commuters in the Indian capital, would be completed.
An Indian police spokesperson says, "I can't reveal many details of the case now as our investigations are ongoing, but it is a case of a train accident."01/06/2004 17:24
