Former SPICE GIRL Victoria Beckham is using a new hip-hop track to get her own back on those who dismissed her solo career.

Victoria co-wrote JEALOUS ONES with American rap boss Damon Dash, and the track is expected to feature on her new album, which is due out next year (04).

The lyrics show Victoria's disgust at her critics: "When you see that people can't stand when you're happy they're the jealous ones / I ain't mad, I never been more happy."

It is believed the track is aimed at her former record label VIRGIN, who dumped her after her 2001 debut solo album flopped, and those envious of her family life with soccer superstar hubby David Beckham.

An insider says, "She is sick and tired of people saying she won't make it in hip-hop. After being told so many times she'll flop, she wants to answer her critics.

"Victoria is still quite bitter about being dropped by Virgin and this song gives her the chance to get things off her chest. Her message is simple: watch this space."
