The scandal involving superstar couple DAVID and Victoria Beckham is to be turned into a British television drama, after TV bosses realised the earning potential of the saga.

Over the past two weeks two women - Rebecca Loos and SARAH MARBECK - have come forward to allege affairs with the REAL MADRID soccer ace, who has denied both sets of accusations as "unsubstantiated".

And executives are hoping to convince MAD COWS actress Anna Friel and former EASTENDERS star PAUL NICHOLLS to take on the roles of Britain's most famous duo.

ITV network boss NIGEL PICARD says, "It's a powerful and emotional story, one with a great deal of public interest.

"I've made it clear this is absolutely something we want."

Meanwhile, TV interviewers Michael Parkinson and SIR Trevor McDonald have been wooing the besieged couple hoping to score the first live interview with them since the scandal broke.
