Victoria Beckham is fuming after she was left off the guest list to British royal Queen Elizabeth II's lunch at Buckingham Palace to commemorate this year's (04) INTERNATIONAL WOMAN'S DAY.

The English monarch will host a luncheon at her London residence on 11 March (04) for 200 British women who have made special achievements in their career field.

Queen Elizabeth has invited supermodel Kate Moss, Harry Potter author JK ROWLING, actress DAME Judi Dench and Sir Paul McCartney's anti-landmine campaigner wife Heather Mills and his fashion designer STELLA, among others.

According to friends of the former SPICE GIRL, even though Beckham has remained silent about her royal snub, her pride has been dented.

The Queen's deputy press secretary SAMANTHA COHEN scathes, "On what grounds would she be going? Being rich is not enough.

"These are people who are outstanding in their field or have been icons who have made a contribution in some way."
