Victoria Beckham isn't particularly keen on the idea of Angelina Jolie playing her in a potential Spice Girls biopic. The singer turned fashion designer attended the press junket for the new musical 'Viva Forever' in London on Tuesday (June 24, 2012) where casting for a possible movie became the subject of discussion.
When the girls were asked who would play them in a movie, both Mel B and Geri Halliwell suggested Angelina would be perfect for the role of Posh Spice. However, it didn't appear to go down to well with Victoria herself, who winced and responded "Oh god". Elsewhere, Halliwell suggested Will Smith's wife Jada-pinkett Smith could play Mel B, though the singer replied, "Don't be so obvious, that's racist. Why would she have to be mixed race? Zoe Saldana, I want her". Mel C meanwhile said she'd be more than happy for English beauty Kate Beckinsale to play her, while Halliwell herself opted for Julianne Moore. After musing over the question, Emma Bunton settled on Hollywood starlet Kate Hudson.
Though Victoria effectively rubbished the idea of Angelina Jolie playing Posh, she was more enthusiastic about the idea of a movie in general, saying, "That would be great. I think we'll see how it goes. but it would be great", reports the London Evening Standard. The current stage musical has been penned by JENNIFER SAUNDERS.
