While accepting the prestigious accolade, Wang, 49, said, "I'm really incredibly honoured. Even at my age dreams in life can really come true."
Trend-setting model Moss, loved for her effortless sense of style, picked up the Award for Fashion Influence.
PETER ARNOLD, the CFDA's director, says of the British catwalk queen, "She dresses in a way that means something.
"What Kate wears, others wear. And it's really Kate choosing it, not a stylist."
Meanwhile, JOHN VARATOS was awarded the Menswear Designer of the Year honour, while MARC JACOBS was named Accessory Designer of the Year for the third time running.08/06/2005 17:31
