Vanilla Ice Has Avoided A Stint In Jail And Had A Burglary Case Wiped From His Record After Completing Community Service.
The Ice Ice Baby hitmaker, real name Robert Van Winkle, was arrested in February last year (15) after allegedly stealing from an abandoned property in Florida close to a house he was renovating for his U.S. home improvement show The Vanilla Ice Project.
He was charged with burglary of a foreclosed home and grand theft, but a judge ruled the felony charges would be dismissed as long as the former rapper kept out of trouble for nine months.
Vanilla Ice was also ordered to complete 100 hours of community service for Habitat for Humanity, and pay $1,300 (£813) in restitution.
Editors at TMZ.com report the rapper-turned-TV presenter has now successfully completed all elements of his plea deal, and will no longer have the threat of jail time hanging over his head.
A representative for the star has yet to comment on the report.
