Former Gucci and VALENTINO creative director Alessandra Facchinetti has teamed up with Pinko to found the new label Uniqueness.
Alessandra Facchinetti has created a new brand in association with Pinko.
The former Gucci and VALENTINO creative director founded the label Uniqueness which will ignore the traditional fashion seasons and release ranges outside of the usual time constraints.
She explained: "I'm excited to have the chance to work on such an innovative and unconventional project, where the freedom to interpret the times effectively becomes the brand's DNA."
Pinko founder Pietro Negra added: "This project captures a technological marketing concept for our generation, stretching to the max a series of assets unique to the creative vision of the Pinko brand, now for the first time merging at a high level of creativity."
Alessandra first made an impression on The Fashion world at Miu Miu before leaving after seven years to become creative director at Gucci.
In 2008 the designer joined Valentino in the same role but was dismissed after two seasons.
This is her first fashion venture since leaving the Italian brand.
