Usher won a hard earned battle against his ex-wife TAMEKA RAYMOND last week to gain primary custody of his two children, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond. However, Tameka is not one to take the ruling whilst lying down and has vowed to appeal against the ruling.
According to gossip website TMZ, the former Mrs Raymond thinks that the ruling was unfair and biased against her. Apparently Tameka recently uncovered that the law firm that provided the lawyer to represent Usher threw an election fundraiser back for the presiding judge back in 2008. Tameka is now convinced that the connection goes someway in influencing the outcome of the ruling.
Sources close to Tameka have told TMZ that she was sure her argument was much more concrete that Usher's because she argued that the 'Climax' singer is constantly on the road touring, leaving him barely any time to secure a stable upbringing for their two children. Meanwhile, Tameka has a much more stable schedule and therefore can offer the children a steady upbringing.
However, Usher's arguments were just as sound, as he argued that Tameka was an unstable, inattentive, and irresponsible person, bringing up numerous cases from their past when she behaved irrationally around him and their children and her battles with depression. He also offers much more financial stability than Tameka does.
The ruling means that the children will now be spending the majority of the time with their father; however, Tameka still retains some custodial rights, although the extent to which she will be able to see her kids is still unclear.
