Usher has been hit with a lawsuit from a DJ alleging the R&B star used one of his tunes without permission.
Aubrey Davis, known as DJ Mixx, filed papers in Florida earlier this week (begs09Jul12), claiming he created a musical composition titled Let's Go in 2008 and hunted for songwriters to add lyrics to the track.
He claims the track was passed on to Usher and was used on his album Raymond v. Raymond as the song Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home).
Davis claims the song was then copyrighted by the singer and his crew as their own work, and he is now suing for unspecified damages. He is also calling for a judge to stop Usher from using the song, according to Tmz.com.
