British rockers Uriah Heep have delayed the start of their U.S. tour after they experienced "immigration" problems.
The band was due to kick off a series of American dates with a show in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Friday (18Jun10) but they have now scrapped the gig and delayed the start of the tour until Saturday (19Jun10) when they will play in Maryland.
A statement posted on the band's website, reads, "Uriah Heep wishes to inform its U.S. fans that, unfortunately, the U.S. tour is now starting in Annapolis on 19th rather than Chattanooga on 18th. This has arisen due to a problem with immigration beyond the band's control.
"We hope that the fans of the band who were planning to see the Chattanooga concert will now be able to reschedule and attend one of the other shows. The band looks forward to meeting many American friends during the tour."
The gigs will now kick off in Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday (19Jun10).
