Una Healy was ''broody immediately'' after giving birth to her daughter Aoife last year, but she's decided now isn't a good time to start expanding her family.
Una Healy was ''broody immediately'' after giving birth to her daughter.
The Saturdays singer welcomed her first child Aoife Belle into the world in March 2012, with her husband Ben Foden, and she admits she couldn't wait to get pregnant again after holding her offspring for the first time.
She said: ''I was very broody immediately after Aoife's birth''
However, the 32-year-old star has decided to put off having more children for at least a year while her and her band mates, Rochelle Humes, Frankie Sandford, Mollie King and Vanessa White, go on tour next year.
She explained: ''I'm just enjoying Aoife being young.
''I'm excited for The Saturdays to go on tour in 2014, so Ben and I aren't thinking about having another baby just yet...''
Meanwhile, Una admits she tried a meal delivery service after Aoife was born in order to lose her baby weight, but she wouldn't do it again because she doesn't agree with fad diets.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan Body magazine, she said: ''I don't do diets, the only thing I've tried is a meal delivery service six weeks after Aoife was born, but I found myself adding extra carbs to the meals. Loads of these 'celeb diets' require strange foods that you have to go searching for - not ideal.''
The BBC drama starring Aidan Turner returns to BBC One on September 4th.
