Sexy Uma Thurman wants to play more ordinary people in her future movies.

The KILL BILL star says she is only recognised on the strength of a couple of high-profile roles, including playing Mia in Quentin Tarantino's classic Pulp Fiction.

She says, "It hurts in some ways. Most people don't see all my work. I play specific characters without having a persona that seems like me.

"People think, 'Oh, she's that girl from Pulp Fiction' or 'the one that played POISON IVY'. They don't think that I can play the girl who lives downstairs. I'm too weird.

"And I really do just want to play regular people. It's a continuous battle to open that door and let people know I'm not limited."
