Rockers U2 have delayed the release of their next album - because they want it to be perfect.
The Beautiful Day hitmakers were due to release their follow-up to 2004's How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb this year (08) - but have put the project back until 2009.
But they have revealed they are still writing songs for the record, and are determined to make it faultless.
Guitarist The Edge tells NME.com, "We're still writing and we're trying to take it to the next level. It's taking a while, but I'm told there's no shortcut to greatness!"
