Travis frontman Fran Healy has urged his fans to show their support for children caught up in warzones around the world after he took to the streets of London to raise awareness of their plight.
The Scottish rocker stunned passers-by in London on Friday (10Sep10) by busking outside the Deutsche Bank headquarters as part of a promotional drive for the U.K.'s War Child charity.
Healy played his band's classic tracks, including Why Does It Always Rain On Me, Sing, Writing To Reach You and Turn for onlookers - and he's hopeful his lunchtime set made people want to donate to the good cause.
He says, "The impact of war on children is simply unacceptable, but with our support War Child are doing something about it. I hope this got people talking about War Child. It's a charity and cause I'd urge everyone to support."
