The hip-hop star's Birds In The Trap Sing MCKnight has debuted at the Billboard 200 summit, making it the fifth Apple/iTunes exclusive to hit number one this year (16). It follows in the successful footsteps of Frank Ocean's Blonde, DJ Khaled’s Major Key, Drake’s Views And Future’s EVOL.

Scott's achievement comes a year after he stormed into the U.S. charts last September (15) with the release of his debut album Rodeo, which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200.

Rock band A Day To Remember hit a career high at number two with their Bad Vibrations album, while Drake's Views climbs a spot to number three.

The soundtrack to blockbuster film Suicide Squad also bumps up to fourth place, while Florida Georgia Line's Dig Your Roots rounds out the top five.
