LATEST: Federal aviation officials in America have officially blamed a blown tyre for the plane crash that almost cost Travis Barker and ADAM 'DJ AM' GOLDSTEIN their lives last month (Sep08).
Two pilots and two fellow passengers were killed when a Learjet failed to clear a runway at a South Carolina airport and crashed.
Barker and DJ AM were left with life-threatening burns, but both have made terrific recoveries and are now back at home in California.
After a month-long investigation, National Transportation Safety Board officials have ruled that Barker and Goldstein's rented aircraft's wheels had very little rubber remaining and the plane's brakes were severely damaged.
