Rocker Trace Cyrus has stripped off to reveal his extensive tattoo collection in an edgy new anti-fur campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta).

Miley Cyrus' half-brother ditches his shirt in the latest Ink, Not Mink advertisement for Peta2, the organisation's youth division.

The tagline reads, "Look good in your own skin, and let animals keep theirs" - and Cyrus is adamant he would never don fur in the name of fashion.

He says, "I grew up on a farm, pretty much, in Nashville. I've just never been interested in wearing fur... and I'm not about to start now."

Speaking about his fondness for his pet dog, Nash, the star adds, "He went on tour with me and everything. He did the whole four-month Miley Cyrus tour when I went on tour with her... I look at them (pets) like my kids."
