Tori Spelling celebrated her 41st birthday at home with her children today (16.05.14).
The former 'Beverly Hills 90210' star, who is battling to save her marriage to Dean McDermott after he cheated on her late last year, was thrilled to be surprised with an early morning plate of donuts and cupcakes from their four children, Liam, seven, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and Finn, 20 months.
Tori's husband was not present for the low-key celebration in Los Angeles, as he is currently filming 'Chopped Canada' in Toronto, where he had a fling with Emily Goodhand in December.
But the actress didn't seem too upset about his absence, as she shared pictures of the bash on her Instagram page, including a photo of herself and Liam smiling over a plate of cupcakes with candles, with the caption: ''My first bday celebration (sic).''
She also penned a blog post and took the opportunity to thank her fans for their support, writing: ''Today happens to be a very special day in the McDermott household. It's my 41st birthday. I was woken up this morning by my beautiful babes, holding my fave kind of donut with a candle in the middle. They asked me to make a wish... which I did right away (sic).
''I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of my amazing readers who have supported me, inspired me and who have made this website an incredible online family.''
A source told UsMagazine.com that the actress plans to continue her celebrations on the set of her new show, 'Mystery Girls,' with her close pal and co-star Jennie Garth over the weekend.
