Tony Bennett will always mourn the loss of Amy Winehouse as working with her convinced him she was as talented as Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.
The British singer died in July (11) and her last ever recording, a duet with Bennett called Body and Soul, appears on the veteran crooner's new album, Duets II.
Bennett is adamant Winehouse had a "rare" talent that hasn't been seen since jazz greats such as Fitzgerald and Holiday.
He tells Bbc Breakfast, "It was very interesting (working with Winehouse), it's almost like seeing... I knew that she wasn't well, yet she gave it everything. She as a very good jazz singer, very rare, as good as Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, she just had that gift. She was wonderful that day (we recorded the song), she loved every moment of it."
