Tone-Loc's manager has blamed the rapper's recent DUI arrest on an ongoing medical condition - insisting the star suffered a seizure behind the wheel.
Los Angeles Police Department officers pulled over the hip-hop star's car last month (Dec10) after they spotted the vehicle moving erratically. He was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and released on $5,000 (£3,333) bail.
But Tone-Loc's representative is adamant the star - real name Anthony Terrell Smith - is teetotal and hasn't had a drink for years, and he insists his client suffered a seizure behind the wheel.
The manager tells TMZ.com cops "realised" the Wild Thing hitmaker was suffering from a medical condition and let him go.
Tone-Loc is said to have checked into hospital in the hours after his release and the rep puts the seizure down to "bad food he had earlier that day".
