Crooner Sir Tom Jones' grown-up lovechild has reached out to the Welsh star in an emotional interview, revealing: "All I want is to meet him once".
The Delilah hitmaker had a brief romance with model Katherine Berkery in 1987, resulting in the birth of his son Jonathan Jones Berkery.
Jones paid child support for his son, but has never met Jonathan - prompting the 23 year old to make a public appeal for contact in Britain's Sun on Sunday newspaper.
He says, "When I tell people who my dad is they think I'm faking. All I want is to meet him once. Just to hear him say my name would be so cool.
"I'd lie in bed imagining doing normal stuff with him. I thought he'd walk through the door, sit down and explain to me where he'd been. When I asked her (Katherine), 'Where is he?' she'd tell me, 'He's an entertainer. He's busy. He can't be here right now'.
"I'd see him on TV and that made me feel better. I'd think, 'She's right. He has to do what he has to do, then he'll come home'.
"I can't respect him. He did what he did and he should have been man enough to take responsibility."
And wannabe singer Jonathan wants his famous father to witness his talent, adding, "It would be cool for him to know that I could (sing)."
