Movie superstar Tom Cruise is determined to continue acting for the rest of his life, because it's what he "loves" doing.
THE LAST SAMURAI star, 41, knows he's been lucky to be granted so many opportunities, and is determined to keep living his life to the full.
He says, "I want to know that I can work as an actor for the rest of my life. Because I love it.
"And here I am looking back on the opportunities I've been fortunate enough to have had, the RAIN MANs, the BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULYs, the TOP GUNs.
"At this point in my life, my philosophy is, 'Did I live this day to the fullest?' I want a full life. I want an adventurous life, and I have no regrets.
"My life's taken many twists and turns, and I'm happy with it and the way I've handled it. I have many privileges and I feel the responsibility of that. It's not a weight I carry, it's just the way it is.
"I guess it is a weird thing sometimes looking at all the money I have. But I'm not saying that isn't fun. That would be a lie."07/01/2004 02:32
