Tom Brady was involved in a car accident this morning (09.09.10).
The NFL football player - who is married to Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen - was driving to the offices of Boston radio station WEEI for his weekly appearance when the accident took place.
According to reports, Tom's Bentley car hit a traffic light and a red mini-van at around 6.30am on the corner of Commonwealth and Gloucester.
Although the 33-year-old sportsman was left "shaken" by the incident he was able to exit his vehicle unaided and refused to be taken to hospital.
However, a hydraulic cutting device known as the 'Jaws of Life' was employed at the scene of the incident and is believed to have been used to remove a Passenger travelling in the van.
Tom's wife Gisele is currently in New York for Fashion Week but is expected to miss an appearance at Fashion's Night Out tonight so she can travel back to Boston to see her spouse.
The quarterback - who has a nine-month-old son Benjamin with the catwalk beauty - is due to play his first game of the new NFL season this Sunday (12.09.10) when his team the New England Patriots take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
