Actress Tiffany Thornton Marked The One-month Anniversary Of Her Husband's Death By Sharing An Emotional Letter To Her Late Love On Instagram.
Chris Carney, who married the former Disney star in 2011, died on 4 December (15) after the car he was a passenger in veered off a highway and crashed into a tree in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The 35-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, along with the driver, 37-year-old Ezekiel Blanton.
Tiffany, who shared two young boys, Kenneth and Bentley, with her late husband, took to social media on Monday (04Jan16) to pay a special tribute to Chris by sharing an image of a note which read: "Your wings were ready but my heart was not."
In her lengthy caption, she wrote, "Today marks one entire month I've been without you Chris. As I sit here watching our little guys during their bath time I can't help but think that you should be here, that it's not fair that you had to leave this world so soon, that I was somehow robbed of growing old with you and having more babies with you and celebrating more anniversaries with you."
"Then I remember you weren't ever truly mine, you were always God's," she continued. "I was simply borrowing you from your real home, Heaven. And I know no matter how happy you were here on earth it doesn't even compare to the peace and joy you have in Heaven."
Tiffany went on to promise to "raise our boys to know the spirit of God", and concluded by adding, "I will never ever ever forget you and I promise to make sure our boys don't forget you either. #missingyouChris #illloveyouforeverandalways (sic)".
