Dutch dance music sensation Tiesto has been named the world's highest-paid DJ after earning $22 million (£13.75 million) in the past year.
The hitmaker topped an Urb magazine list of the world's richest turntable tycoons in June (12), and now he has come out on top of the Forbes magazine 2012 countdown.
Tiesto easily beat dubstep star Skrillex, who comes in second with $15 million (£9.38 million), while trio Swedish House Mafia, who will play their final shows later this year (12), rank third with $14 million (£8.75 million).
France's David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Deadmau5, Avicii and Jersey Shore reality TV star DJ Pauly D also earn mentions in the top 10.
