Tia Mowry, the American actress who gave birth to her first child this week, has named the baby-boy Cree Taylor Hardrict, according to US Weekly Magazine. Mowry, best known for her role on the Nickelodeon sitcom 'Sister, Sister', welcomed her 8-pound boy child in Los Angeles on Tuesday (28th June 2011).
Speaking of her joy at the birth, the actress said, "I never knew how much love I could feel for someone", while husband Cory Hardrict added, "We both have tears of joy!" Tia's pregnancy will be documented in 'Tia and Tamera', a documentary co-starring her twin sister Tamera Mowry - the series is scheduled to debut in August on the Style Network. The arrival of 'Cree' marks a celebratory year for the famous twin sisters, with Tamera marrying her boyfriend Adam Housley during an intimate ceremony back in May. Tia had hinted at a possible baby-name before giving birth, telling People Magazine, "We're definitely looking at 'C' names because my husband's name is Cory".
Tia Mowry is currently starring as medical student Melanie Barnett Davis in the Bet comedy-drama 'The Game'. The show returned to screens with its fourth season premiere on January 11, 2011, drawing a record breaking 7.7 million viewers.
