Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore was left disappointed the first time he met BOB DYLAN - because he found the rock legend too timid.

Moore - whose band are supporting Dylan when he performs in Ireland later this month (26JUN04) - recalls how the MR TAMBOURINE MAN barely uttered "two words" during their first meeting at the home of late BEATLES' GEORGE HARRISON.

The NIGHTLIFE musician says, "Many years ago, I went round to George Harrison's house and he introduced me to Bob.

"I remember Bob had soft, squidgy, little hands and was really shy - he hardly said two words."
