The XX have started work on their third album.
The indie band have started working on ideas to follow up their second album 'Coexist' which was released last year, after the success of their Night + Day live events across Europe.
The band's Jamie Smith told website festivalrykten.se: ''We are working on some new songs right now, we have a couple of demos and some sounds. After finishing this tour, we will be doing some separate things,
''I'll produce and DJ, but we will get back together after New Year's and start recording our third album.''
The band - which is completed by Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim - have previously said they want to experiment with their sound on their next record.
Romy has previously said: ''I think we just want to experiment this year a bit and try new things - to have a bit more of an open mind for the future music that we make.''
Grunge master Chris Cornell dies on tour at the age of 52.
'The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance' is the prequel to Jim Henson's 1982 movie.
