Fans of The Who will be clamouring to get their hands on a stash of Keith Moon memorabilia when it goes under the hammer in London later this month (21NOV06). The late drummer's family are auctioning 30 lots, including gold and silver discs of classic Who albums like QUADROPHENIA and WHO'S NEXT, as well as posters, photos, drums and two of the hellraiser's handwritten desk diaries. The rock 'n' roll sale is expected to raise more than GBP50,000 ($90,000) at Christie's auction house. A rock memorabilia expert says, "This sale is a goldmine of collectable's for fans of the man considered by many to be rock's greatest ever drummer."
