The View Announce Headline Tour In November/ December 2012

Announce Winter Tour Which Includes London's Electric Ballroom Gig And A Homecoming Show At Dundee's Caird Hall

The View put the finishing touches to an excellent year which saw them return with the Top 10 album 'Cheeky For A Reason' with the confirmation of a fresh tour which culminates with a homecoming show at Dundee's Caird Hall.

Produced by Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Foals), 'Cheeky For A Reason' neatly encapsulates the band's mission statement of creating an album akin to "Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' done by The Clash." The album is the band's fourth after the Mercury-nominated #1 debut 'Hats Off To The Buskers', the Top 10 follow-up 'Which Bitch' and 2011's Top 20 'Bread & Circuses'. Representing their most freely eclectic work to date, the album flows from the Celtic-influenced melodic rush of 'How Long' through the pounding punk of 'AB (We Need Treatment)' to the 70s-styled hybrid of piano pop and rich vocal harmonies that define the closing track 'Tacky Tattoo'.

Currently touring mainland Europe after a trek of the UK and Ireland which included the Reading and Leeds festivals as well as BT London Live in Hyde Park, The View will return to play the following dates:
