Pop duo The Ting Tings and dance legends the Prodigy are the first acts to be announced for the 2009 Isle of Wight festival.
Both the That's Not My Name and Firestarter stars will take to the main stage at the island event on June 12th, organisers confirmed today.
Also included on the lineup for the festival are dance veterans Basement Jaxx and Australian drum 'n' bass band Pendulum.
Not further details of the 2009 lineup have been confirmed but organisers have said the festival will be "the most electric party the island has ever seen".
This year's event, the eighth since the festival was revived in 2002, takes place in Seaclose Park, Newport, from June 12th to June 14th.
Kaiser Chiefs and the Sex Pistols performed at the 2008 festival while artists including the Rolling Stones, the Police, Coldplay, The Who and David Bowie have also played at the annual event.
Tickets are currently on sale for this year's event and cost £120, or £140 with camping.
