The Subways - Listen to 4 Audio Tracks From The Album
One of the greatest British albums of recent years, ‘YoungForEternity’ is the massively anticipated debut from the hotly tipped Subways. ‘YoungForEternity’ is set for a July4 th release on CityPavement/Infectious.
Produced by IanBroudie (TheZutons, TheCoral, Echo & The Bunnymen), ‘YoungForEternity’ finds TheSubways writing material of the quality you’d expect from seasoned songwriters but performing it with the kind of reckless abandon that crackles with the intensity, soul and sexuality that only the exuberance of youth can truly provide.
The band are loved by the UK music press with NME, Q,TheGuardian, TheSun, TheFly, Rocksound amongst the many names who have tipped them as one to watch. On TV, ZaneLowe is a massive fan and both singles – ‘OhYeah’ and ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Queen’ – have been Top 5 hits on the NME/MTV2 chart show. SteveLamacq has also been hugely supportive of the band.
Having recently completed a sold-out 35-date UK tour, an Oasis support and a support at Embrace’s massive hometown gig in Leeds, the summer will also see the trio tour with Weezer as well as play further festival dates at Reading, Leeds, IsleOfWight, T In The Park and Guilfest.
And if that wasn’t enough success for the band, they are now set to be signed to SireRecords by SeymourStein. Stein’s legendary signings include Madonna, TheRamones and TalkingHeads.Holiday - 2. Mary - 3. Oh Yeah - 4. 1 am -
