British band The Streets' new album will explore the troubled life of lead singer MIKE SKINNER.
Skinner, 27, has ditched his narrative style to make The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living - due out on 11 April (06) - a poignant account of his dramatic experiences from recent years.
A record company spokesman says, "The album is completely autobiographical.
"It covers the various things that have happened to Mike during the past few years. There's love, loss, scandal, violence, sex, drugs and a whole load of bad behaviour and regret.
"It is a true story. It's not a 'story' record like his last album."
