The Sopranos star JOSEPH GANNASCOLI is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) after he was arrested by Florida police in the early hours of Friday (18Jun10).
The actor's car was pulled over by cops in Tampa after he was allegedly spotted driving erratically and drifting between lanes.
Gannascoli reportedly had bloodshot eyes and reeked of alcohol when officers questioned him, while he is also said to have slurred his speech, according to TMZ.com.
He agreed to a field sobriety test and registered a 0.111 reading when breathalysed.
The 51 year old, best known for portraying Vito Spatafore on the hit mafia series, has since been released on $500 (£330) bail.
